Originally worn by female students in the Meiji era, the hakama has become a beloved icon of Japanese style and is now a popular outfit for graduation ceremonies.

At Edo Kimono Studio Miyabi – Asakusa Station Branch, we offer a wide selection of hakama styles—from elegant classics to trendy lace designs. You’ll be supported with professional kimono dressing and hair styling, ensuring a smooth and beautiful experience, even for first-timers.

The hakama’s split-skirt design offers greater mobility than regular kimonos, making it ideal for sightseeing. Match it with traditional sandals or even your favorite boots for a fashion-forward look. Capture picture-perfect moments in front of Senso-ji Temple or Tokyo Skytree, and share your memorable experience with the world.

Included in the Plan: Two-sleeve kimono, undergarments, inner layer, half-width obi, hakama pants, bag, tabi socks, zōri sandals, decorative hair accessories, and hairstyling service

A ¥10,000 deposit is required for graduation ceremony reservations; refundable only with cancellation 2 weeks in advance

※ If your hair has strong styling marks from wax, curling irons, or similar products, it may not be possible to achieve your requested hairstyle.
※ We sincerely regret that we do not provide dressing services for pregnant customers.
※ As bangs are often a matter of personal preference, we kindly ask that you arrange them before arriving for a smoother process.
※ The fee includes a simple hairstyling service.
※ Suitcases and other luggage can be stored free of charge.

Return Time
Regardless of your reservation time, items must be returned by 5:00 PM.
An additional fee will apply for next-day return.
After 5:00 PM, an extension fee of JPY 3,000 will be charged for every 30 minutes.
